SWIETELSKY Tunnelbau GmbH & Co KG is specialises in any kind of underground engineering.
The company is located in Innsbruck, the heart of the Alps. From there conventional as well as mechanized tunnel projects are being realized.
We are active worldwide, the main area has naturally been moved to alpine underground construction.
We gained our first experiences in tunnelling in 1949 at the power plant Achensee. Back then we still traded under the name of Ed. AST & Co.
Besides the classic infrastructure constructions such as road-, railroad- and subway tunnels the construction of underground power stations by way of pressure, diversion and spillway tunnels, shafts and caverns constitutes an important sector of Swietelsky Tunnelling.
